Trip to the Kimberley tonight on TRAVEL GUIDES

It will be the most secluded vacation our guides have ever had.

They board a luxury 4×4 bus and have fun in the big outback. The ancient landscape and thriving wildlife will impress even the most urban of our travel guides in ways they never imagined.

Arriving at the Broome Tourist Gateway, our tour guides head inland along the famous Gibb River Road. Windjana Gorge welcomes our Guides to this extraordinary country… as well as about fifty freshwater crocs.

Their ultimate destination is the huge Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park. A helicopter ride over these spectacular beehive-shaped mounds leaves our guides in awe.

Even in this sparsely populated area, our travel guides don’t take it hard on this trip. They sleep for the night at the luxurious Bungles Bungles Wilderness Lodge. In these glamping tents there is enough comfort even for our most particular guides.

In an area known for its stunning hikes, our travel guides weave their way through the Bungle Bungles to Cathedral Gorge, where they test their awesome acoustics with their own versions of karaoke hits. Ancient sandstone rocks may never recover.

Travel Guides airs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Nine and 9Now
