Stevenage Ticket and Travel Information – News
Sutton will visit Stevenage this Saturday, September 10 (kick-off 3:00 p.m.), and ticket and travel details for the game are below.
Tickets are on sale at the Sutton United Club shop every day this week, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Prices are: adult £22; Concessions (60+; students with valid ID; former/current service staff with Defense Discount Service Card; NHS/emergency service workers) £20; Under £18 £14; Under 12 £8. Disabled supporters pay the reduced rate with proof of medium or high disability allowance or equivalent PIP award. Tickets will be available the same day at the box office outside next to the club shop, but please note that on the day the prices increase by £2 in all categories. Our accommodation is in the South Stand. Supporters are invited to enjoy a pre-match drink in the Broadhall Suite, next to the opposing team.
If you can’t get the VBS this week, you can avoid the matchday price increase by having a ticket mailed to you at an additional cost of £1.50. Telephone 020 8644 4440 during the above times, but please note that the cut-off time for postal inquiries is this Tuesday at 12 noon.
The Supporters’ Club coach leaves the VBS at 10.30am, return fare £20. To book a place, contact John Parsons by email [email protected] or text 07989 261929 (please confirm your name when texting) between 8am and 6pm ONLY.
For independent travellers, the pitch is on the A602, just off Junction 7 of the A1(M). You will see the ground at the second roundabout after leaving the A1(M), and free parking for 500 cars is available at Fairlands Valley Car Park, on the left opposite the ground. Please do not park in nearby retail parks – alternative parking is available in the city center paid car parks. The postal code on the ground is SG2 8RH.
By train there is no Thameslink service from Sutton on Saturdays but it is still an easy journey, leaving Sutton 26 or 56 minutes after the hour and changing at London Bridge to arrive at Stevenage a little over an hour and a half later. Return at 02 or 32 minutes past the hour. The land is one mile from the train station. Turn left out of the ticket barriers into town. Take the stairs on the right before the bridge over the dual carriageway and continue along the A602, Lytton Way with the railway on your right. At the roundabout which has the police station on the right, use the underpass to take the second exit onto Six Hills Way towards Asda. At the next roundabout take the third (south) exit continuing on the A602 Monkswood Way, passing Asda on your right and North Herts College. After about 3/4 mile you will come to a roundabout and the land will be in front of you across the A602.
