Newcastle United – Travel information for the game against Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion will operate a travel scheme, where supporters can use public transport in a designated travel area on presentation of their match ticket on their mobile phone, for Saturday’s visit to Newcastle United.

All supporters are asked to plan their travel carefully and the Seagulls urge supporters to arrive early and allow extra time for pre-game checks, as well as mobile ticketing entry procedures.

The trains: For supporters traveling by train, Southern Railway offers an improved service on the Falmer Line. Please check the Southern Railway website before travelling.

Post-match: Trains from Falmer to Brighton will not stop at Moulescoomb or London Road.

Please ensure you wear a face covering when traveling or queuing at stations.

Park-and-ride: There will be two parks and rides open: Mill Road (BN1 8ZF) and Brighton Racecourse (BN2 9XZ).

All venues will be open from 2.30pm and supporters are strongly advised to arrive early as parking spaces will be allocated on a first served basis.

Please ensure you wear a face covering when travelling.

The buses: Brighton & Hove buses and stagecoaches will operate a normal Saturday service throughout the travel area. Please ensure you wear a face covering when travelling.

Seagull Travel offers a full range of services for this game; to reserve a seat on a coach, please visit their website.

Coaches: Any group wishing to come to the match by coach or minibus must reserve a parking space via [email protected] Seasonal supporter groups who have already contacted Brighton & Hove Albion are already pre-listed.

Car park: All car parks at the University of Sussex (Park C) and Le Pont (Park B) are now full. All car parks must be pre-booked through the Brighton website, and there will be no same day cash sales at the car parks.

For those who have reserved or secured a parking space in Parking Lot C, a shuttle service to and from the Amex Stadium will be available, with pick-up points at the bus stops opposite Parking Lots 4 and 5, as well as at the entrance to car park 1.

All vehicles accredited to park in Parking Lot C must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry to Falmer or Knights Gate.

The University of Sussex (car park C) is a short walk from the underpass to Amex Stadium.

Drop-off and pick-up point: There are no pick up or drop off points along Village Way or on Woollard Way (the entrance to Bridge Car Park B). Supporters are advised to use the official drop-off and pick-up point located at the University of Sussex in car park 5, located near the sports hall.

This drop-off/pick-up point is a short walk from the underpass leading to Amex Stadium.

Please note: There is no local street parking available for football supporters as all areas near Amex Stadium have a resident parking system and enforcement officers will be on patrol.

Village Way will be extremely busy and congested, and supporters are advised to avoid this area before and after the game unless they have pre-booked parking.
