Gillingham Ticket and Travel Information – News
On Saturday we make our first senior league visit to Gillingham for a Sky Bet League Two match. We will wear all amber. Ticket and travel information is below.
Tickets: Tickets are only available online but can be purchased until kick-off time. There will be no sales over the phone or in person, even on game day. The only exception is for disabled/wheelchair and PA ambulant users (those with a higher/enhanced DLA/PIP fare) whose e-tickets MUST be purchased over the phone. The ticket office number for these purchases is 01634 300 000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)
Prices are as follows: adults £22, seniors (65+) £19; Young adult (18-21) £14; Under £18 £10; Under 14s free with adult paying full price. Tickets can be purchased at this link, and there’s a guide to using Gillingham’s online ticketing system here. Our accommodation is in the Upper Brian Moore stand, behind the goal to the left of the map in image 2, rather than where the ‘click’ icon is displayed on the example. Once your purchase is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to the address listed on the order, and you can choose to have an e-ticket saved to your phone or a printable PDF ticket.
Please note that the Brian Moore Stand is not covered and the MEMS Priestfield Stadium is a cashless venue, so all payment must be made by card.
Travel: The planned railway strike means there are no trains via Gillingham on Saturdays so it is not possible to make the train journey.
There are still a few places available on the fan coach which leaves the VBS at 11:15 (please arrive 15 minutes before departure). Return fare is £15. To book contact John Parsons by email [email protected] or text 07989 261929 (please confirm your name when texting) between 8am and 6pm ONLY.
Those traveling by car should leave the M2 at Junction 1 and take the A289, following signs to and then through the Medway Tunnel. Continue on the A289, go through two traffic lights, then take the third exit at The Strand roundabout and turn into Church Street. Keep going up the hill and cross the level crossing, and the turns to the ground are then on the left. The postal code on the ground is ME7 2PE. There is no on-site parking and street parking immediately around the lot is for permit holders only. Woodlands School (ME7 2DU) offers parking at £5 on a first come, first served basis from 1.30pm, and street parking may be available in roads in this area, approximately 10-15 minutes walk away of the ground.
