Channel Nine Delays Season Four Airing Of Travel Guides To 2021 Due To COVID-19 Pandemic










Channel Nine travel guides will not be released this year.

Instead, the popular show’s fourth season will air in 2021, a source confirmed to TV Tonight on Wednesday.

The popular program is believed to have been delayed as Australians cannot travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Season four is expected to feature destinations in Europe, the Middle East, the United States, Africa, Asia and Australia.

The new season was also set to be the start of the new couple replacing the husband and wife team, Deepesh and Sage.

Travel Guides sees six groups of ordinary Australians become travel critics and experience international and national vacations.

Over the course of a week, they have to review their accommodation, their local cuisine and visit famous sites.

Travel Guides first aired on Channel Nine in 2017 and was renewed for a second season shortly thereafter.

In the past, groups have visited Sri Lanka, South Africa, Vietnam and New Zealand.
