ARDOT Reminds Drivers To Use For Thanksgiving Travel Information | KLRT

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) would like to remind drivers to “know before you go” and visit before traveling during the holiday season.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials are encouraging people to stay at home as much as possible during the pandemic, but ARDOT officials say if the Arkansans choose to travel, there are several things to consider before to start the journey. ARDOT officials said in a press release sent on Monday that if the Arkansans decide to travel during the Thanksgiving holiday (November 25-29), they wish you and your family a safe journey.

ARDOT officials say major road improvements are continuing across the state. According to ARDOT, they are working to open as many lanes as possible, but travelers could still see construction areas and delays due to increased traffic.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and traffic signs, according to ARDOT.
