A ton of ideas for school outings to be found at the GLT Show 2022 | News and insights

As always, the event is totally geared towards group travel and people looking for ideas, offers and expert advice. It is an occasion where major attractions, hotels, operators, tourist offices and all sectors of the travel industry come together to help visitors face to face with their specific needs.

Teachers and educational tour leaders can take advantage of the ideas and exhibitors available and visit for free, although pupils and students cannot attend.

GLT show organizer Sharon Yandell said: “The overwhelming feedback from last year was about the friendliness and hospitality of the event. The visitor and exhibitor experience is of paramount importance to us and we work hard to ensure that the day is not only valuable but also enjoyable.

The Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes is next to the MK Stadium and is easy to find. You can get details on how to get there, here. Visitors and exhibitors can expect easy and free parking just outside the arena, a free bacon breakfast (without it it wouldn’t be the GLT Lounge), and a light lunch free for all.

Opening at 10am, you can meet experts who really understand the bands and come away with ideas and special offers. In addition, there will be lectures in the seminary theater that everyone can attend.

Who can we listen to at the Seminar Theater this year?

  • The country’s leading travel expert, Simon Calder
  • Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond
  • Award-winning journalist and cruise expert, Jane Archer
